Eagles Rowing Development Camp at Eastern Michigan University is an on the water rowing camp focused on technique with a thoroughly positive and fun atmosphere for any and all women in high school, and all incoming college freshman as well as other college students who still have remaining eligiblity. The camp is geared to learning the skills to improve your boat speed. Run out of Eastern Michigan University’s Boathouse on Ford Lake, you'll learn rowing technique from the EMU coaching staff. Camp size is limited to 24 athletes. To secure a space, campers must register and have submitted the required information and payment through this site no later than June 10, 2017. After you sign-up, please check your email for confirmation and important details. We only accept online payments through this website. No other payments will be accepted
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early. We will begin promptly at noon.
A certified EMU First Aid Responder will be available at all times during the camp.
What to wear
Running shoes, athletic shorts, a hat, socks, and t-shirts (nothing too baggy). As rowers will go back and forth on a moving seat, it is advised that the shorts be tight fitting. Loose and baggy shorts will get stuck in the seat tracks! Biker shorts or spandex are common rowing attire! Also we will be outside so make sure to plan for the sun bring your sunscreen and waterbottle.
