Glen Millican

Currently in his 18th season at the helm, Coach Millican has produced 30 tournament wins including 6 Mountain West Conference Titles, 2 NCAA Regional Titles, and a Topy Cup win in Japan.  In addition, Coach Millican has enjoyed coaching All Americans Wil Collins, Scott Hailes, Michael Letzig, Spencer Levin, Jay Choi, Charlie Beljan, Steve Saunders, James Erkenbeck, and most recently 2013 and 2014 All-American Gavin Green.


                Coach Millican is a native of Dallas, TX, graduated from UNM in 1998, he and his wife Megan have two daughters Ryley (16) and Emily (13).



Coach Massoletti

Coach Massoletti is in his third season as Assistant Men’s Coach with UNM.  Prior to coming on staff in September of 2016, Coach Massoletti was the Head Men’s and Women’s golf coach at St. Mary's University-TX.

His collegate playing experience had two stops, his first two years at California State University-Chico, then transferring to Texas A&M to comlete his final two years of eligibility.

Coach Massoletti is a native of Chico, CA and has a bachelors degree from Texas A&M.


UNM Lobos and UNM Alumni


As schedules permit, various members of the UNM Men’s Golf team and UNM alumni who are currently playing professionally will assist with camp instruction.




The Lobo Golf Center is a state-of-the-art video and swing analysis center that will allow the campers to see their swing on video.  This will help serve as a measuring point for campers as they develop their game and ready themselves for more advanced levels.



Educational Seminars

Educational talks will include the following topics:

  • Rules; history of the game
  • etiquette and safety
  • equipment
  • college golf / scholarships
  • golf course management
  • sports psychology
  • video analysis
  • Trackman analysis


Maximum Supervision

All campers will be fully supervised from the time they arrive at the Championship Course until the time they are picked up.  Campers’ safety will be the first priority while attending the camp.


Registration will begin at the Championship Golf Course Pavilion at 8:00 a.m. each day of the camp. 


Please plan on departing the camp each day of the camp at 12:00 noon.

What to Bring

  • golf clubs with owners names on them (limited number of loaners will be available)

Maintaining the status as one of the nation’s top collegiate golf programs is never easy.  But, with hard work, fundamentals, and the best practice facilities in the nation, the University of New Mexico Men’s Golf Program in Albuquerque has achieved that level of success.  And, now your son or daughter can benefit from this expertise by attending the Lobo Junior Golf Camp at the University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course.


Directed by Lobo Men’s Golf Coaches Glen Millican  and Chris Massoletti, the 4-day Lobo Junior Golf Camp will provide your child with the instruction and counseling required to excel and enjoy the game of golf.




Comprehensive Instruction

Instruction will focus on improving fundamentals in the areas of the swing, chipping, pitching, putting, course management skills, and video analysis.  Campers will be grouped by ages and skill levels.  Each group will be guided by a skilled instructor and counseled throughout the camp.


In addition to the coaching staff from UNM, instruction will be provided by some of the current players on the Lobo men’s golf team as well as area PGA professionals.  Guest appearances from touring professionals will be provided for clinics as their schedules permit. 


Fun, Challenging Activities

Stations will be set up for each aspect of the game with

prizes available at each stop along the way.
