DESCRIPTION

My name is Andrew Waters and I am the recruiting coordinator for the Trinity Tigers baseball program. Your talents on the baseball field caught our eye while we were on the recruiting trail this summer and we have identified you as a potential fit for the academics that Trinity commands and the level of our baseball program.

We are having a prospect camp on Friday through Sunday, November 1st through the 3rd , at the Tiger baseball field on Trinity University’s campus in the heart of San Antonio, TX. The cost of the camp is $375 per camper. Our camp is different than most collegiate prospect camps in the sense that it is a very intimate environment. Our entire coaching staff will be in attendance to instruct and evaluate you and our current players will help organize and run the camp. There will not be other schools in attendance or any other type of outside influence. *Please note that a shirt will be provided for all campers, but hats will not be provided. All meals and accomodations are the responsibility of the camp attendees.*

The schedule for the camp will be as follows:

Friday, November 1st:

  • 5:15pm – Campers arrive for check in
  • 6:00pm – Welcome and Introduction by Coach Scannell, Head Coach of the Tigers
  • 6:15pm – Dynamic Warm-Up and 60 Yard Dash
  • 6:45pm – Posititional Evaluations
    • Outfielders
    • Infielders
    • Catchers
  • 8:15pm – Live Defense and Simulated Game Scenarios
  • 9:00pm – Camp Breaks for Day 1

Saturday, November 2nd:

  • 8:30am – Campers arrive for check in
  • 9:15am – On-Field BP & Hitting Stations
  • 11:30am – Break for Lunch
  • 2:00pm – Round Robin Tournament Starts
    • Pitching evaluations will all be done during the games
  • 5:00pm – Camp Breaks for Day 2

Sunday, November 3rd:

  • 8:30am – Campers Arrive at field
  • 9:00am – Day 2 of Round Robin Tournament Begins
  • 12:00pm – Concluding statements from the coaching staff and goodbyes

Our camps are truly instructional in nature. So, we will limit the attendance of the camp to 70 campers. This is done so that the instruction is intimate enough for you and our coaching staff to have constructive dialogue around any questions that campers might have. Along with being instructional in nature, we utilize our camps as one of our main evaluation and recruiting tools.

We are inviting 120 prospects to this prospect camp. Again, only 70 spots are available, so reserve your spot ASAP to guarantee your spot!

We look forward to seeing you on campus soon.
