Welcome to Ball State Softball Camps!

Our goal with the Ball State Softball Camp program is to provide top-notch instruction and create an immersive learning environment which will allow each camper to truly experience what it’s like to be a Division I softball player.

Our camps will not only highlight innovative skills and techniques, they will also provide a platform for each camper to practice their newly developed skills.

Thank you for your support of our program and we look forward to seeing you soon at a Ball State Softball Camp!

The Ball State Softball Camp program is led by head coach Megan Ciolli Bartlett. A two-time All-American and the 2004 Big East Player of the Year as a student-athlete at the University of Notre Dame, Bartlett also played professionally for the Chicago Bandits.

The ninth head coach in program history, Bartlett has led the Cardinals to an 123-99 (47-41 Mid-American Conference) record over her first four seasons at the helm. In 2018, Bartlett guided the Cardinals to a 37-19 overall record and the MAC West Division championship with a 16-7 league mark. The team's 37 wins rank as the fourth-most in a single season in program history.

Bartlett, who has coached at the Division I level since 2006, has also made stops at Loyola-Chicago, DePaul, Northern Illinois and Purdue..

Facilities

Ball State softball has been blessed with some of the best facilities in the Mid-American Conference.

During the summer and fall, we run our camps at The Softball Field at First Merchant Ballpark Complex. Our complex feature A turf outfield, a laser graded dirt infield and newly renovated bullpens and batting cages down both lines.

During the winter months, our camps are conducted in both the Ball State Field Sports Building and the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Between the two connected buildings, our facilities include drop down cages, an indoor turf field and a full infield.
