We teach more than just basketball at the DePaul Blue Demons Basketball Camps. We will help kids develop a winning attitude, teamwork, understand the importance of academics, and, more importantly, learn the benefits of always doing their best! Campers will be taught the fundamentals of the game by the DePaul Men's Basketball Coaching Staff and have the opportunity to play at the legendary McGrath-Phillips Arena.
TUITION INCLUDES
Tuition includes basketball instruction, camp T-shirt, certificate of participation, supervision, and immeasurable amounts of fun.
FACILITY
McGrath-Phillips Arena, housed in the Sullivan Athletic Center on DePaul's Lincoln Park campus, offers three full-sized basketball courts. Our staff will create an unforgettable experience for all camp participants.
DISCIPLINE
Any serious violation of camp regulations, such as willful damage to university property or any other detrimental behavior, will result in immediate dismissal from camp. In addition, any camper found harassing, bullying, or inflicting any physical harm onto any other campers or staff will be immediately asked to leave camp. There will be no refund of tuition should a camper be dismissed.
WHAT TO BRING
It is recommended that each Camper wear basketball footwear, athletic socks, shorts, a t-shirt, and bring a water bottle. Do not bring valuables such as watches, iPhones, video games, etc. DePaul is not responsible for the theft of any of the items mentioned above.
INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE
All campers must provide medical insurance. Professional medical trainers are on duty at all times at camp. Each Camper should come to camp in excellent physical condition. If a medical situation should arise, the cost for treatment of injuries and hospitalization for illness or injuries while attending the Skills Clinic will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the participant. Any medical insurance carried by the parent or guardian may be used to defray such medical and hospital costs. We will not accept a camper with pre-existing medical conditions. Please ensure that all medical information is completed on the camp application. Campers will not be admitted to camp without a parent or guardian's insurance information and signature on file. Should a camper require any special medical attention or is necessary to take any medications, you must document such needs before the first day of camp. Please attach any medical information to your camp application.
