Whether you are looking for a camp to have fun and make new friends at or a camp where you can really hone your skills, become a better player, and test your abilities against current squad members, DePaul Men's Soccer has a camp for you! Camps are offered throughout the year in different formats; single day camps, weekend camps, week long youth camps and all run by and staffed by the DePaul Men's soccer coaches and players.  Current staff members as well as current and past players run the camps and interact with players throughout every camp. We really look forward to seeing you at one of our camps!

 

Day Camps (K-8th grade)

DePaul Soccer Camp has much to offer in its Day Camp. Our mission is to develop the youth soccer player through one philosophy. The philosophy of positive teaching by role-models provides a nurturing environment for each player to gain self confidence, self motivation and self discipline. Our experienced staff will provide personalized instruction in every phase of soccer. We are knowledgeable and passionate educators and strive to offer the best soccer environment for young players.

 

College ID Camps (9th grade-12th grade including Junior College/Community College Transfers)

The One/Two-Day ID Camp is designed for any and all socer players who have an interest in playing collegiate soccer. All training sessions expose each participant to a competitive, college level enviornment. Players will be coached by the DePaul Mens's Coaching Staff and it is a great opportunity for the coaches to get to know the players on a more personal level.Our high school aged camps are more geared toward technical and tactical skill development and the experience of what it takes to play and compete at the NCAA Division I level.

Per Bylaw 13.12.1.3, camps and clinics shall be open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

Coaching Staff:

 

Mark Plotkin - Head Coach

Former DePaul standout Mark Plotkin was named the seventh head coach in program history on Dec. 21 by athletics director Jean Lenti Ponsetto. Plotkin played for the Blue Demons from 2006-09 and most recently was associate head coach at Colgate University.

In addition to being a four-year starter at Wish Field during his playing career, Plotkin also served as an assistant coach during the 2012 and 2013 seasons for DePaul. During his playing career, Plotkin helped the Blue Demons to four consecutive appearances in the BIG EAST Championship tournament, including semifinal appearances in 2007 and 2008. Plotkin was a driving force behind DePaul winning the BIG EAST Red Division title and earning the first program appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2007. He finished his career in 2009 tied for fifth all-time in games started with 74.

 

Wish Soccer Field:

All games and sessions will take place on Wish Field, the home of DePaul Men's Soccer, located at: 900 West Belden Ave., Chicago, IL 60614

 

With the Chicago Transit Authority's trains rumbling by every few minutes, Wish Field is a one-of-a-kind facility that gives a true urban setting for the Blue Demon soccer programs. Wish Field is nestled in the heart of DePaul's Lincoln Park campus and is the home to the DePaul men's and women's soccer programs. Surrounded by McCabe Hall, Cortellyou Commons and Corcoran Hall, Wish Field is located on Belden Ave. just east of the Fullerton station.

 

Driving Directions:

From Lake Shore Drive (north or south): Exit Lake Shore Drive at Fullerton Avenue. Head west for approximately 1.2 miles. Turn left on Sheffield Ave and take the first left onto Belden Ave. Field is on the left.
