This camp is designed to raise the level of each and every athlete. Instruction is provided to improve skill levels from the novice through the state champion. There is a great staff to camper ratio and all campers will be coached! This camp offers variety in that we instruct technique, drill the technique, wrestle live, compete in a dual meet settings, provide motivational talks with coaches and current NCAA Division I wrestlers and instruct on the importance of strength training with proper nutriion. This camp staff will get to know the campers and each participant will leave as a better wrestler with a deeper base of knowledge on how to operate like a champion.
Typical Day at Camp:
830am - Check in / Report for day
9:00am - 11am - Technique/Drilling and Live Wrestling
11am - 12pm - Lunch (bring your own meal)
12pm - 2pm - Technique/Motivation Live Wrestling in Dual Meet Setting and Individual Performance Feedback
2pm - Campers dismissed
* Campers will receive tee shirt upon entry to camp!
The NCAA stipulates that the camp/clinic is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender).
Transfer of paid registration fees to a non-registered camper or to a future NIU wrestling camp is prohibited.
