We offer three styles of Team Camp to suit your teams needs and schedules. While our Team Camps are most popular with girls varsity level, all Team Camps are attended by and open to girls and boys teams at all levels (Varsity, JV, Freshmen, etc). If boys teams join, nets will be kept at 7'4" with altered rules for coed competition. If we have 3+ boys teams we will raise a net and pool boys teams together for training.

Coaches may email luyoung@siue.edu to register for Team Camp at anytime (not included in May 1 registration start date).

FRIDAY TEAM PLAY DAY: an evening lead by SIUE staff and student-athletes with position and group training. Camp will begin by splitting positions onto separate courts for skill work. The buik of camp will put your team on the court with SIUE camp staff directly lead teams in wash drills and other 6-on-6 training.

ONE-DAY TEAM CAMP: our traditional Saturday team camp with multi-tiered compeition ending in single elimination brackets. Teams will learn from SIUE camp staff in group training and compete against a wide variety of teams in pools advancing to compete with others most similar in competition levels as the day progresses.

TWO-DAY TEAM CAMP: have the best of both days and save. This is our most popular option as SIUE camp staff will interact with your team over the course of two days and provide pointed feedback starting with fun competitions on Friday, culminating in round robin pools and a championship style tournament on Saturday. To keep camp affordable, no housing or meals are provided, but teams have enjoyed team bonding activities by staying overnight in one of our area hotels. Reach out to Luke Young for any assistance you may need: luyoung@siue.edu

Currently Zero Open Camps

All camps are run by the SIUE Volleyball coaching staff and current student-athletes.

Both medical forms below need to be filled out and signed prior to participation.

1. Medical Waiver (one needed for each camp attended)

2. Health Information and Consent Form (one needed per year camper. As of January 2020 all campers need to fill out this form)

**Both forms can also be found at the bottom of all camp pages when you click "View".

You can bring both forms with you to registration check-in. If you would like to submit the forms in advance you can scan and email to: luyoung@siue.edu.

1) If a camper is not able to attend camp, the best refund option we offer is full camp fee as a credit towards any future camp within the next 12 months.
2) If the camper has only signed up for one camp, to receive a refund back to your credit card we can refund the camp fee minus the JumpForward fee (6% of transaction)
3) If the camper has signed up for multiple camps that haven’t happened yet, we can give a full refund, minus the JumpForward fee (6% of transaction), however camper will need to then be re-register for the future camps they wish to attend.
4) If camper purchases multiple camps one one transaction and has attended camp previously this summer already we cannot refund any future camps to a credit card. Only credit to attend a future camp can be offered as JumpForward does not separate transactions for each camp if all purchased as one time.

  • We have attended SIUE Summer Camps before. Do we will still need to fill out both waivers?
    • Yes. Health Information forms are only good from January 1st- December 31st each calendar year and cover all camps in that year. Everyone will need a new Health Information form on file for 2020. Medical Waivers are only good for the dates inserted on the waiver. Everyone will need a new Medical Waiver consisting of camp dates you are attending.
  • Do we need to pay to park for the Summer Camps?
    • Monday-Thursday, YES. Weekends, NO.
    • SIUE Parking lots are ticketed 8A-8P Mon-Thurs, and 8A-4:30P on Fridays.
    • All SIUE Parking Lots are open and free on weekends.
  • I'm not sure if we can attend. Can we wait and pay at the door?
    • Online registration is encouraged. We have done our best to extend the registration time as late as possible for these situations. If paying at the door is the only option, you can still attend, but you MUST pay with cash. Checks will not be accepted.
  • My son is interested in attending. Will there be other boys there?
    • We highly encourage everyone to attend regardless of others in attendance. We support a diverse learning environment and treat everyone equally regardless of gender. The focus of all camps is for INDIVIDUAL growth.
  • I’ve only played volleyball a few times. Will the Combined Skills camps be too advanced for me?
    • No, these camps are designed to train athletes at each level. Athletes are first split up into groups based on grade. From there, campers may be moved to a different group that more closely suits her/his skill level.
  • I’m advanced for my grade. Can I play with the older group?
    • Drills have an individual focus so each camper can get better at a specific skill regardless of those around them. We have seen leadership traits flourish by keeping campers with a similar age and skill level. If an adjustment needs to me made to ensure advancement, it will be up to the camp coaches to do so.
  • I play for my High School team. Will these clinics be good for me?
    • Yes. If you enter camp with an open mind, you will leave with new information. Each age and experience level will be challenged accordingly. All Skills camps focus on fundamentals, so each skill will be broken down. If you are specialized in your position and do not care to learn another skill, you may want to look into specialty camps.
  • I don’t know anyone else attending. Will I have a hard time finding a partner?
    • No. SIUE players and coaches will help find you a partner. SIUE Volleyball camps pride themselves on creating a supportive and positive environment. We can say confidently that we have an inviting, kind group of campers and staff!
  • My friend and I are attending together. Can we be in the same group?
    • Pairs/groups will be responsible for communicating to the staff that they want to stay together. The ultimate goal is to give each camper a good experience and environment to grow so we will do our best to keep you together if you are close to the same age/skill level.

All camps are held in the First Community Arena at the Vadalabene Center on the campus of SIUE. Click Here for a Google Map.
