DAY CAMP DESCRIPTION:

- All campers will receive a Camp T-Shirt

- Campers work on skills including shooting, ball handling, defense, rebounding and passing

- Individual and team competition events

- Each camper plays on a team with players of his own age and ability

- Competition is used as a learning tool to help campers improve their all-around game with emphasis on team work and good sportsmanship

- Speaking sessions by SUU assistant coaches as they share their experiences and training tips with the campers

 

LOCATION:

The camps will be hosted in Cedar City, UT on the Southern Utah University campus. Camps will take place in the America First Event Center, Multipurpose gymnasium and the JL Sorenson Physical Education Building. 

 

STAFF:

The Todd Simon Boys Basketball Camps are conducted by the SUU coaching staff and current SUU players. A professional medical trainer is on duty at all times.
