The Camp Ambrose Youth Camp is designed to teach your son or daughter the fundamentals and skills to be successful at the game of football. Campers ranging from 6 - 13 years of age are eligible to participate.. The Camp Ambrose Youth Camp is a non-contact camp, providing a fun learning experience for all campers. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt!. This non-contact camp is designed to improve a child's beginning, intermediate or advanced skill level. Fundamentals skills of all positions on offense and defense are taught in addition to life skills such as respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork and the importance of education. Participants are grouped based on age and skill level.
The Camp Ambrose Youth Camp is designed to provide younger players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. The camp is run by the Towson Football coaching staff. Check-in takes place between 9:00 and 9:15AM Monday - Friday and the camp itself runs from 9:15AM to 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday. On Friday camp runs from 9:15AM - 1:00PM.
REGISTRATION PERIODS: Early Registration (March 21 - April 30) - $220 Registration (May 1 - July 17) - $270 Walk-Up Registration (July 18) - $295
LOCATION AND FACILITIES:
The Camp is located on the beautiful campus at Towson University. The campus is located approximately 30-40 minutes from BWI airport. Camp will be conducted inside Johnny Unitas Stadium and on the Towson Football Practice Fields.
Camp Ambrose Youth Camp Check-In/Drop Off and Pick Up will all take place in the Minnegan Room which is located on the 3rd floor of the Field House on Auburn Drive. Parents/Guardians should accompany all campers to Check-In/Drop Off and campers will not be released to anyone besides their Parent/Guardian.
We will be providing lunch for young campers that is included in registration costs. There will be a hydration station set up on the field to keep campers hydrated throughout the day. We will also provide a camp bank at which campers can buy water, powerade, or snacks during the day.
WHAT TO BRING :
Depending on the weather, all campers should wear a t-shirt, shorts and cleats & tennis shoes. They should also bring a hat and sunscreen. Each camper will be given a Camp T-shirt.
INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE:
Professional certified trainers are available at all camp sessions. Each camper must be covered by his or her parent's medical insurance. A certified athletic trainer is on duty at all physical activities during the day. If your son is injured and needs to be taken to Emergency, we will attempt to contact you first. If we are unable to contact you immediately, your child's safety is our first concern and he will be taken to the proper medical facility.
