Specialist Camp - July 15

The Towson Football Specialist Camp conducts a camp for kickers, punters, and long snappers during the summer designed to teach the fundamentals. Players of high school ages are eligible for participation. The Towson Football Specialist Camp is a non-contact camp, providing a fun learning experience for all campers. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt!. This non-contact camp is designed to improve a child's beginning, intermediate or advanced skill level. Fundamentals of all specialist positions are taught in addition to life skills such as respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork and the importance of education. Participants are grouped based on age and skill level.     

The Towson Football Specialist Camp is designed to provide younger players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. The camp is run by the Towson Football coaching staff, as well as current players.  Check-in takes place between 8:30 and 9:00AM and the camp itself runs from 9:00AM to 12:30 PM that day.  

LOCATION AND FACILITIES: 
The Towson Football Camps are located on the beautiful campus at Towson University. The campus is located approximately 30-40 minutes from BWI airport. Camps will be conducted inside Johnny Unitas Stadium and the Towson Football Practice Fields.

CAMP CHECK-IN/PICK-UP: 
Towson Football Specialist Camp Check-In/ Drop Off and Pick Up will all take place in the Field House on Auburn Drive.

REFRESHMENTS:
We will NOT be providing meals for young campers. There will be hydration stations set up on the field to keep campers hydrated throughout the day.

WHAT TO BRING :
Depending on the weather, all campers should wear a t-shirt, shorts and cleats & tennis shoes. They should also bring a hat and sunscreen. Each camper will be given a Camp T-shirt.

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE: 
Professional certified trainers are available at all camp sessions. Each camper must be covered by his or her parent's medical insurance. A certified athletic trainer is on duty at all physical activities during the day. If your son is injured and needs to be taken to Emergency, we will attempt to contact you first. If we are unable to contact you immediately, your child's safety is our first concern and he will be taken to the proper medical facility.

PARKING: 
All Lots surroung Johnny Unitas Stadium are FREE on weekends.
