The Sarah Barnes College ID Clinic will be run by the University of Miami's Soccer Staff. Head Coach Sarah Barnes has had a long career of coaching some of the top collegiate programs in the country including UConn, University of Texas, George Washington, and now UM. She has impacted hundreds of collegiate athletes at the highest level. She will be assisted by the rest of the UM coaching staffwhich includes Goal Keeper Coach Alan Fread, technical/tactical expert Jeremy Williams, Volunteer Coach Aubri Williamson, and Director of Operations Nicholas Petrucelli. Athletes will be tactically and technically challenged at the same level the UM soccer players are during their season. The session's will be held on the University of Miami campus at Cobb Stadium. The same field the UM soccer team trains and competes on. The clinic is meant for athletes aged 13-18 years old. Goal keeper training will be included for players who are goalkeepers.
The camp will be a two day long event. The two days will encompass numerous different types of drills, that will help athletes improve on their techincal and tactical developement. The athletes will also have an oppurtunity to play small sided games, and 11-v-11 fill sided games in front of the Univerity of Miami coaching staff. Sign-up space is limited to allow for the coaches to get a honest and complete look at each athlete attending the clinic. The ID Clinic will also include a tactical video session with the staff, a college and recruiting talk with a recruiting expert, and a University of Miami campus tour.
Check in for camp will be at approximately 5:00 PM EST on April 19th, with the clinic time to start at approximately 6:00PM EST. Check out will be at Approximately 2:00 PM EST on April 20th.
Over night accomadation will not be provided for this clinic. More information about the clinic will be provided closer to the date of the clinic.
