For Youth Grades 3-9 as of Fall 2018 (campers can not have enrolled in high school or played any level of high school football)

Date: Session 1: Monday, June 11th through Wednesday, June 13th, 2018

          Session 2: Thursday, June 21st through Saturday, June 23rd, 2018

Cost: $250 per session or $400 for both sessions
$50 optional equipment rental (Rental includes: helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads and pants with pads)




Camp Plan:

  • Fully padded, contact camp. No previous football experience necessary. 
  • Instruction and drills with a focus on proper fundamentals and technique.
  • 11-on-11 full team scrimmages and competition every session
  • All activities are overseen and coached by University of Utah staff and current players.
  • All campers will receive an official Utah Football Camp t-shirt at check-in 
  • Lunch/refreshments included 
  • Camp will be held at the Eccles Football Center, 580 S. Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84112

CAMP CHECK-IN and START TIME: On the first morning of camp, check-in will be from 7:00-8:30 AM at the Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center, 580 S. Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84112. On days two and three, campers should be on the field, dressed and ready to practice by 8:45 AM. Please arrive on time as camp practices will start at 9:00 AM sharp each morning.


CAMPER PICK-UP: On the first two days of camp, camper pick-up will be at 3:00 PM. On the last day of camp, camper pickup will be at 12 Noon. Pick-up location will be at the Spence Eccles Fieldhouse.


PARKING: Please park in the Guardsman parking lot directly east of the Eccles Football Center on Guardsman Way. All other campus parking lots and street parking will be subject to parking tickets by University Police and the Salt Lake Police Department. Any citations issued will be your responsibilty for payment.


WHAT TO BRING: This is a fully padded camp. All campers are required to have the following: helmet w/ facemask and chin strap; mouth guard; shoulder pads, jersey; football pants with the following pads—hip pads, tail pad, thigh pads and knee pads. If you are participating in a youth league this fall, contact your youth football organization as they may issue full pads to your child as long as they are registered to play in the upcoming season. Campers should wear football cleats. An official Utah Football Camp T-shirt will be given to each camper at check-in.


LUNCH/REFRESHMENTS: Lunch will be provided on the first two days. On the last day of camp lunch is not provided since camp ends at 12 Noon. Water will be available to campers during each practice session, and at the end of each day we will have popsicles for all campers.


WATCHING PRACTICE: You are welcome to attend any session of camp. We ask that you set up your chairs well behind the sidelines.


***INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE: Each camper must be covered by his or her parent’s medical insurance. A professional medical trainer is on duty at all physical activities during the day. If your child is injured and needs to be taken to urgent care, we will attempt to contact you first. If we are unable to contact you immediately, your child’s safety is our first concern and he or she will be taken to the proper medical facility. Every attempt will be made to contact you subsequently.
