DESCRIPTION

FUTURE UTE CAMP 

For Youth Grades 7th - 9th as of Fall 2019

(campers can not have enrolled in high school or played any level of high school football)

Date: June 12 - 13, 2019 

Cost: $175.00

 

  • No previous football experience necessary. 
  • Instruction and drills with a focus on proper fundamentals and technique.
  • Competition every session.
  • All activities are overseen and coached by University of Utah Staff and Current Players.
  • Camp will be held at the Eccles Football Center, 580 S. Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84112.
  • This camp is open to any and all entrants, restricted only by age.
 

CAMP CHECK-IN & START TIME

 

On the first morning of camp, check-in will be from 7:30-8:30 AM at the Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center, 580 S. Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84112. On day two campers should be on the field, dressed and ready to practice by 8:45 AM. Please arrive on time as camp practices will start at 9:00 AM sharp each morning.

 

CAMPER PICK-UP

 

Camper pick-up will be at 3:00 PM. The pick-up location will be at the Spence Eccles Fieldhouse. Please pick-up your camper on time!

 

PARKING

 

Please park in the Guardsman parking lot directly east of the Eccles Football Center on Guardsman Way. All other campus parking lots and street parking will be subject to parking tickets by University Police and the Salt Lake Police Department. Any citations issued will be your responsibilty for payment.

 

WHAT TO BRING

 

All campers are required to bring the following: helmet w/ facemask and chin strap; mouth guard; shoulder pads; jersey. If you are participating in a youth league this fall, contact your youth football organization as they may issue full pads to your child as long as they are registered to play in the upcoming season. Campers should wear football cleats and athletic shorts. An official Utah Football Camp T-Shirt will be given to each camper at check-in.

 

MEAL / REFRESHMENTS

 

Lunch will be provided. Water will be available to campers during each practice session.

 

WATCHING PRACTICE

 

You are welcome to attend any session of camp. We ask that you set up your chairs well behind the sidelines.

 

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE

 

Each camper must be covered by his or her parent’s medical insurance. A professional medical trainer is on duty at all physical activities during the day. If your child is injured and needs to be taken to urgent care, we will attempt to contact you first. If we are unable to contact you immediately, your child’s safety is our first concern and he or she will be taken to the proper medical facility. Every attempt will be made to contact you subsequently.
