DESCRIPTION

The Prospect Series is something BRAND NEW that we are rolling out this year! This clinic (Prospect 2 Clinic) is the second in a series of three prospect camps that will be held this year.  The Prospect 3 Clinic will be a continuation into more advanced drills and will continue to measure your progress on skills.

 

 

The Prospect Series is  for advanced softball players wanting to continue their playing career at the collegiate level. The Prospect 2 Clinic will be separated into three rotations: Defense and testing, hitting, and a scrimmage on Allan Saxe Field. Your skill measurement numbers will be emailed to you once the camp has concluded in order for you to continue to track your progress. After the lunch break (lunch will not be provided) players will continue where they left off in the rotation. The clinicians will include the UTA coaching staff along with Maverick players.

WHO: 7 - 12 grade softball players (graduation years 2020,2021,2022, 202, 2024, 2025) and Qualifying Junior College Athletes

All UTA Clinic attendees MUST SUBMIT FOUR PARTICIPANT REQUIRED FORMS.You may obtain copies of these forms below or by visiting the UT Arlington Conference Services webpage at http://www.uta.edu/campus-ops/conferences/reserve/overnight.php. Then scroll to the Participant Required Forms section.

 

Forms to be completed:

  • Consent to Treat Form
  • Release and Indemnification for Minors
  • Photographic Consent and Release Form
  • Transportation Plan (Transportation for Minors)

 

Please mail in or e-mail completed participant forms. If forms are not recieved by one week from the first day of camp, forms will be required at check-in. Completed participant forms can be e-mailed to Coach Low (megan.low@uta.edu).

 

In addition to the participant forms, each vehicle that will be on campus during camp will need to be registered with our parking office. Coach Low will email you the link to do so after your registration is completed. UTA SOFTBALL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PARKING TICKETS AQUIRED DURING UTA SOFTBALL CAMPS. 

 

*Per NCAA rules, all camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas at Arlington are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, and/or number restrictions specified by each camp.

This clinic is NON-REFUNDABLE. In order to be compliant with NCAA rules, please understand that any payment you make towards camp is non-refundable. Camp credit can be issued for medical reasons (a doctor's note is required) and is required at least one week prior to the clinic.Credit for future clinics do not guarantee a spot in any clinic.
